RCCG, throne of Grace is a Parish of The Redeemed Christian Church of God MD Zone of RCCG: The Americas; an integral part of the global Redeemed Christian Church of God. We are located in Hagerstown Maryland USA with our Zonal headquarters in Bowie (RCCG: Victory Temple), MD and The Americas Headquarters in Dallas, Texas.
Our aim is to spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ towards the redemption of souls with the ultimate goal of eternal salvation. In doing so our standard book of reference is the Holy Bible while righteousness and holiness remain our core values. In the course of our activities and in order to impact our society / humanity positively we shall also be ‘our brothers’ keepers’ by getting involved in humanitarian and philanthropic activities where adequate.
Our Origin
Throne of Grace Parish is an integral part of The Redeemed Christian Church of God world- wide (rccg.org) which originated in Nigeria. The Americas Headquarters is located in Dallas Texas. Pastor E.A. Adeboye is the General Overseer of the RCCG.
Our Ministries
GOOD SAMARITAN MINISTRIES
In this ministry our goal is to be a Help to the helpless. We shall provide food to the hungry and plan to provide shelter to the needy. We will visit shelter homes and feed the needy and the poor. We shall also have visitations to the prisoners to spread the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Good Samaritan Ministries shall have their activity, preferably, on Saturdays: 9 – 12 noon.
Fundamental Beliefs
We believe in the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ as contained in the Holy Bible. The Redeemed Christian Church of God believes that “the entire Scripture, both Old and New Testaments were written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit – II Tim. 3:16-17. All the Christian teachings and the Christian attitudes of the Children of God are such as are established in the Holy Bible – II Tim. 3:10-15; II Peter 1:21; John 17:17; Ps. 119:105. For instance we believe that ‘if any man be in Christ he is a new creature, old things are passed away and behold all things have become new” (2 Cor. 5:17).
The Bible is the written and revealed Will of God. The Bible explains Man’s position to God, the way to obtain salvation, woe and destruction awaiting sinners that refuse to repent and everlasting joy that is kept for the born again souls. All the Bible teachings are holy, what the Bible reveals as the will of God are such that we should accept, and whatever God writes in the Bible and His Law are to remain unchangeable; for the Heavens and Earth may pass away but the Word of God stands forever. Deut. 4:22; Rev. 22:18, 19; Matt. 24:34-38.
